Two Dreame flagships, one machine: the $200 gap is a dispenser module and a bottle of floor cleaner

Dreame's specification table for the X60 Ultra promises automatic cleaning-solution dosing from a dual-solution compartment. The packing list on the same page ships a single-solution module and one 200 ml bottle of pet-odour solution. The dual compartment, and the floor cleaner that goes with it, arrive only in the X60 Max Ultra Complete bundle — for USD 200 more. Both pages were checked on 3 September 2026. Line by line, the two robots are the same machine: 6,400 mAh battery, 35,000 Pa suction, 4.7 kg robot on a 10.6 kg dock, a 3.2 L dust bag with 4.2 L clean and 3.0 L waste water tanks, 88 mm double-step climbing, mop washing at 100 °C and hot-air drying. Neither table lists a difference in motor, chassis or station size. The X60 Ultra sells for USD 1,499.99 and has been listed since 13 March 2026; the Max Ultra Complete, listed since 6 January 2026, sells for USD 1,699.99 in the same store. What the pricier listing does add is consumables and a module: the dual-solution dispenser, a 1 L bottle of floor cleaning solution and a 200 ml pet-odour solution, against the single 200 ml bottle in the cheaper box. The Max table also states auto-empty as good for 100 days, where the X60 Ultra table simply ticks the feature without a figure. The two tables disagree in one more place, and not in the direction a buyer would expect. The X60 Ultra lists obstacle avoidance as two AI cameras plus lateral 3D structured light plus an LED; the pricier Max Ultra Complete lists two AI cameras plus an LED, with no structured light row at all. Dreame does not explain the omission anywhere on either page, and the marketing copy for both models is otherwise identical. Until the manufacturer clarifies, the safer reading is that one of the two tables is incomplete — which is itself the point: on a purchase this size, the tables are all a buyer has.
