The electric Atlas abandons hydraulics for compact, high-torque electric actuators with a range of motion exceeding the human body. Designed with Hyundai for real manufacturing work, it can rotate its torso and head 360 degrees and manipulate heavy, irregular parts. Reinforcement-learning policies trained in simulation give it uncanny agility.
