Tesla Optimus Gen 3 Tesla · USA · 2026
Tesla's general-purpose humanoid robot, with over 1,000 units already working in Gigafactories.
Optimus is Tesla's bipedal general-purpose humanoid designed to take over repetitive and dangerous tasks. Gen 3 brings improved 22-DoF hands, faster walking and an AI stack derived from Tesla's Full Self-Driving neural networks. More than 1,000 units are deployed inside Tesla's own factories, and mass production lines are being prepared in Fremont.
