Spot
Boston Dynamics · USA · 2019
The iconic yellow robot dog — the world's most successful commercial legged robot.
Spot patrols factories, construction sites, power plants and even nuclear facilities, carrying thermal cameras, lidars and manipulator arms. With well over 1,500 units in the field it proved that legged robots can do real industrial work: autonomous inspection rounds, gauge reading and predictive-maintenance data collection.
