The transport robot from CYBERDYNE is the least glamorous machine the company builds, and the ratio in its data sheet is the whole point: 632 x 610 x 550 mm, roughly 25 kg with its battery, and a rated load of 200 kg. It carries eight times its own mass, which is possible only because it never lifts anything — the load sits on the deck, or is towed, and the robot simply rolls under a controlled speed limit of 30 metres per minute. That is 0.5 m/s, a deliberate walking pace for a machine that shares corridors with hospital staff and factory workers. Like the CL02 cleaner from the same company, it is built around not installing anything. There is no magnetic tape, no floor grid and no reflector array: an operator drives the robot once with a touch-panel controller while it scans the shape of the building and stores the map, and afterwards a button starts the run. A management server is available as an option so that several units can be dispatched over Wi-Fi. What should be read carefully is how CYBERDYNE itself describes the product. The Japanese page states that this is contract development rather than a catalogue item, and that the published figures may change with the options and the specification ordered — the deck can be configured as a mounting type or a traction type. So the numbers here describe a base configuration, not a fixed product; the robot is a platform a customer commissions rather than a model bought off a price list. Availability is narrow. The machine is sold in Japan only, CYBERDYNE does not rent it to individual users, and no price is published. The company also gives no release date, so the year in this profile is an upper bound: the product page is present in the earliest web archive snapshot of the site, from 16 February 2018.
