Dobot's flagship heavy cobot: 30 kg on a 1,800 mm radius, with wrist joints running at 300 deg/s - a speed the company says no other 30 kg collaborative arm matches. In February 2026 it became the first Dobot platform verified against the cybersecurity clauses of ISO 10218-1:2025.
CR 30H is the top of Dobot's collaborative range and a different machine from the CR30A that shares its payload rating. Both lift 30 kg, but the CR30A is a CRA-generation arm reaching 1,305 mm on 70 kg of structure, while the CR 30H is a purpose-built heavy platform: 98.5 kg of arm, a 1,800 mm working radius - nearly half a metre further - and a 19 kg control cabinet of its own. Anyone reading the two model numbers as variants of one product will size a palletising cell wrongly. Speed is what Dobot sells it on. The wrist joints J4, J5 and J6 run at 300 deg/s, with J3 at 200 and the two base joints at 150; the company calls 300 deg/s the highest figure recorded for a heavy-payload cobot and claims a palletising pace of ten pieces a minute. Underneath sits a 96 V mid-voltage servo drive that Dobot credits with 50% more power and 20% less heat than its previous generation, a 1 kHz real-time control loop, and a vibration-suppression algorithm aimed at the full speed and payload range. Dobot also describes this as the first 30 kg cobot with torque sensors built into the joints, which is what makes one-handed drag-to-teach possible on an arm this size. The robustness story is unusually strong for a collaborative arm. The body is rated IP67 - dust-tight and able to take water jets and oil - and mounts on floor, wall or ceiling; fail-safe electromagnetic brakes engage on power loss and hold the end effector within 1 mm. Noise is quoted at 70 dB(A) and the operating range at 0-50 C. Worth flagging: the marketing copy on the same page offers 'IP65/IP67 rugged protection' as one phrase, while the specification table gives a single rating of IP67 for the body and IP20 for the cabinet, with IP54 as a cabinet option. This catalogue publishes the table. The cabinet carries 24 digital inputs and 24 digital outputs in both NPN and PNP, two analogue inputs and two analogue outputs, and ten safety inputs and ten safety outputs, with two Ethernet ports speaking TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP and PROFINET, plus Modbus RTU over RS485 and an incremental encoder interface for conveyor tracking. The teach pendant is a 1.09 kg Android tablet with a 10.1-inch screen. Repeatability is +/-0.05 mm - the looser figure typical of heavy arms, and the same as Dobot quotes for the CR30A. Dating the launch takes inference rather than a press release: Dobot's own product photography for the model was uploaded on 26 June 2025 and the product page was first archived on 3 July 2025, so the arm reached the market in mid-2025. In February 2026 Dobot announced that SGS had independently verified the CR 30H Series against the cybersecurity requirements newly introduced in ISO 10218-1:2025 - threat modelling, access control, secure communication, secure software updates and port security - making it the platform the company now leads its compliance argument with. Dobot offers a three-year warranty on the series and does not publish a list price.
