CR10AS is the largest arm of Dobot's CRS line, where SafeSkin ships as standard rather than as an option. It handles 10 kg within a 1300 mm working radius and stretches to 1525 mm, weighs 40 kg and draws 350 W - nearly three times the appetite of the smallest CR3AS. Repeatability loosens to +/-0.03 mm, the usual price of length. Travel is +/-360 degrees on every axis except J3 at +/-160 degrees; the base joints run at 150 deg/s, J3 at 180 deg/s and the wrist at 233 deg/s. Protection is IP54, the working range 0 to 50 C. Dobot markets this arm on speed rather than precision, and credits it with DH-parameter compensation and a vibration-suppression algorithm that keep a long, light arm predictable when it moves fast. That claim collides with the manufacturer's own numbers: the descriptive text on the product page speaks of a maximum operating speed of 4 m/s, while the specification table on the same page says 2 m/s, and the CRA series comparison table says 5 m/s. Three figures, one arm - this catalogue publishes the specification table and records the other two. A second oddity is worth noting rather than smoothing over. The wrist joints of CR10AS are listed at 233 deg/s, while every other arm in the CRA and CRS families is listed at 223 deg/s. A ten-degree outlier in an otherwise uniform table looks more like a typing slip than an engineering decision, but Dobot has not corrected it, so the published figure stands here with this reservation attached. SafeSkin itself is identical across the line: a capacitive layer sensing proximity and contact, recommended on joints J4 to J6, effective at 5 to 15 cm, sampling every 0.01 s and triggering an emergency stop within 0.1 s - reliable against human bodies, metals and liquids, weak against non-conductive objects.
