The 9 kg food-and-beverage build of Doosan's agile line: NSF-certified, 1200 mm of reach - the largest hygiene-certified cobot the maker sells, and one with no published IP rating.
The A0912F is the food-and-beverage build of the larger A-SERIES size: 9 kg over 1200 mm, certified by NSF for food hygiene. It was announced on 17 April 2023 in the launch that introduced thirteen new cobots across the P, H, M, A and E families - the F builds are the newest part of the A line, and unlike the plain and S models they have no product page in the maker's catalogue before that date. Its place in the range is worth stating precisely, because Doosan sells hygiene twice. The E-SERIES E0509 carries NSF certification and an IP66 rating that allows hose-down cleaning, but stops at 5 kg and 900 mm. The A0912F reaches half a metre further and lifts nearly twice as much, with the same food certificate but no published IP figure - so it is the machine for food work that is wiped down rather than washed down, at a size the sealed line does not offer at all. Applications Doosan lists for the F builds include fryer work, coffee preparation and noodle cooking, alongside inspection and bonding. The A-SERIES is Doosan Robotics' "agile" line: the family the Korean maker positions on speed and price-to-performance rather than payload. Doosan claims twice the axis speed of its earlier cobots, a force/torque sensor with twice the performance, safety algorithms that go beyond current-based collision detection, and around 10 percent faster cycle work on average. Every size in the line comes in three builds - the plain model, an S version with the wrist force/torque sensor, and an F version certified by NSF for food work. Options are shared across the line: a white or a navy finish (navy is the anti-stain build for dirty environments), the compact CS-04 DC controller meant for mounting on AGV and AMR platforms, a Cockpit direct-teaching button, and a choice of Smart Pendant or full Teach Pendant. Programming runs on the DART platform. Doosan does not publish the arm's own mass, per-axis speeds or a list price on the product page, and this catalogue leaves those fields empty rather than take numbers from distributor listings. Specifications come from Doosan Robotics' own product pages and from the data behind the maker's product comparison tool.
