The A0912S is the force-sensing build at the top of Doosan Robotics' A-SERIES: 9 kg over 1200 mm, with the wrist force/torque sensor the maker describes as twice the performance of its earlier one. It is the largest arm in the line and the one aimed at contact work that needs both reach and feel - assembly, insertion, surface finishing and machine tending where the part cannot simply be dropped into place. It also settles a question raised by the smaller pair. At 5 kg Doosan declares the sensor build more precise than the plain one, 0.03 mm against 0.05 mm. Here both the A0912 and this model are declared at 0.05 mm, so the sensor buys force control and nothing else - which is what one would expect from adding a sensor to an otherwise identical arm, and what makes the 5 kg figures the outlier rather than the rule. The A-SERIES is Doosan Robotics' "agile" line: the family the Korean maker positions on speed and price-to-performance rather than payload. Doosan claims twice the axis speed of its earlier cobots, a force/torque sensor with twice the performance, safety algorithms that go beyond current-based collision detection, and around 10 percent faster cycle work on average.
