H2017

H2017 is the long-arm member of Doosan Robotics H-SERIES: 20 kg of payload out to 1700 mm. That reach ties the M0617 for the longest arm the company sells, but where M0617 lifts 6 kg at that distance, H2017 lifts more than three times as much. It is the trade the H-SERIES exists to offer. Mechanically it is the same design as the 25 kg H2515: six high-performance torque sensors, one per axis, instead of current sensing in the drives, and a counterbalance (gravity compensation) mechanism in the shoulder. The counterbalance is what lets Doosan advertise an arm weighing roughly half a comparable six-axis machine of the same payload class, which is what makes remounting it on an AGV or AMR realistic. Declared pose repeatability is 0.1 mm, the same as H2515 and the loosest figure in Doosan catalogue. Across the whole line-up repeatability tracks arm length rather than payload — every Doosan arm reaching 1700 mm declares 0.1 mm, whether it carries 6 kg or 20 kg. A caution on the numbers. Doosan no longer publishes a full parameter table for the H-SERIES: the product page carries only payload, reach and repeatability, the downloadable catalogue sets its specification table in a font whose digits cannot be read by text extraction, and the interactive comparison tool is the only place on the company own site where the figures appear in machine-readable form. Arm mass and per-axis speeds are deliberately left out of this profile rather than taken from resellers, who quote figures the maker does not confirm. The manufacturer does not date the series. 2020 here is a floor, not a launch date: it is the earliest point at which the H-SERIES product pages are confirmed to have existed in Doosan own catalogue (web archive snapshot of 8 August 2020).
