The M1013 is one of the four collaborative arms Doosan Robotics launched with at Robot World in Seoul in late September 2017, and the one the company's own product card then described as the standard model, versatile for any application. It carries 10 kg over a 1300 mm reach. Read across the whole M-SERIES, the M1013 is where the family's trade-offs meet in the middle, and the numbers make the pattern visible. Doosan's own 2018 cards gave the base and shoulder joints of the 900 mm M0609 a speed of 180 degrees per second; on this 1300 mm arm they run at 120, and on the 1700 mm M0617 at 100. The wrist joints, which do not have to swing a long lever, stay at 225 degrees per second on all of them. Longer arms move their shoulders more slowly because there is more mass and inertia at the end of the boom - a physical constraint the marketing does not mention but the specification sheet records honestly. Declared precision follows the same slope. Doosan quoted plus/minus 0.1 mm for the entire series in 2018; today it quotes 0.03 mm for the 900 mm models, 0.05 mm for this one and 0.1 mm for the 1700 mm M0617. Whether that reflects a hardware revision, a change of measurement standard or growing confidence in a mature product, the manufacturer does not say. The hardware is the series standard: a torque sensor in each of the six axes rather than one at the wrist, force and compliance control built on those sensors, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, serial and fieldbus interfaces on the controller, and programming through the Dart-Suite platform. Options include a compact DC controller (CS-02) for mounting the arm on AGVs and AMRs, a steel IP54 controller for dirty workshops, a white or stain-resistant navy finish, and a cockpit of buttons on the wrist for hand-guided teaching. Doosan lists the arm for assembly, machine tending, welding, polishing and deburring, gluing, plastic injection assist, press forming and service work. Doosan no longer publishes a full specification table on the product page - the complete catalogue sits behind a marketing consent form - so the arm mass, per-axis speeds and protection rating quoted here come from the manufacturer's own 2018 product card and are flagged as such.
