Cordless window-cleaning robot that clings to glass by suction and is caught by a 5.5 m safety rope if it lets go.
The WINBOT W2S PRO OMNI is Ecovacs' flagship window-cleaning robot, launched on 10 August 2026 at USD 599.99 and still listed at that price in September 2026, with a USD 100 launch promotion bringing the checkout price down to USD 499.99. Unlike a robot vacuum, it works vertically: a fan holds it against the glass with more than 800 N of suction while an internal lithium battery drives it for up to 110 minutes without a power cord, so it can be carried to a balcony or an exterior pane where no socket is available. Cleaning is done wet. Three wide-angle nozzles lay down an atomised film of water — the manufacturer claims 90 percent surface coverage — which a wiping pad then removes, while the TruEdge 2.0 system lowers four corner scrubbers with high-density felt bristles to reach the frame itself. A 120 ml tank, double the capacity of the earlier W1 PRO and W2 PRO, covers up to 75 square metres in one fill. Navigation runs on the WIN-SLAM 4.0 planner with six modes (heavy-duty, zone, edge, thorough, deep and fast), and a dual-axis edge probe with lift-and-run side brushes is meant to stop the robot jamming on window frames. The safety chain matters more here than on any floor robot: the 5 kg OMNI station acts as a counterweight, the compound cable combines power and safety rope with a tensile strength of 1,000 N over 5.5 m, and the station winds the cable in automatically. Ecovacs rates operation at 66 dB. The robot body measures 272 x 272 x 76 mm; the station is 312 x 215 x 327 mm. Note a discrepancy in the manufacturer's own materials: the global product page under this model's address still carries the text of the earlier W2S OMNI (80 ml tank, 68 dB, 5.2 kg station), while the US page describes the PRO figures quoted here.
