Elite Robots CS56H

CS56H is the entry model of the CSH line, the palletising family Elite Robots lists on its Chinese site. The whole line is built on one decision that is easy to miss in a catalogue listing: these arms have five axes, not six. The wrist roll axis of the CS arms is gone, because a box being stacked on a pallet only needs to be lowered and turned about the vertical, never tilted. What is saved goes into reach and speed. The numbers show it. CS56H carries 6 kg over a 1050 mm radius — more reach than the six-axis CS66 of the same payload class — while weighing 19 kg and drawing 225 W. Maximum tool speed is 3.2 m/s, against 2.3 m/s on the ES arm of comparable size. Repeatability is quoted at +/-0.02 mm, the tightest figure in the palletising line; the two larger CSH arms loosen to +/-0.03 and +/-0.05 mm as their reach grows, which is the same reach-for-precision trade this manufacturer makes across its other families. Protection is IP68 over the whole arm as standard, not as an option — a difference worth noting, because the six-axis CS arms carry IP65 by default. Mounting is restricted to floor or inverted ceiling positions rather than the free angle the ES line allows. The remaining joints turn +/-360 degrees, the first two at 150 deg/s, the elbow at 180 and the wrist at 230. The tool flange carries 4 configurable digital inputs and 4 outputs, one analogue input and output and an RS485 line, with the ERB2C300 or ERB3C300 cabinet and an ERP500 pendant.
