Elite Robots CS612A

Elite Robots CS612A is the 12 kg member of the CSA advanced line built by Elite Robots of Suzhou. It carries 12 kg over a 1322.5 mm radius with a repeatability of +/-0.03 mm, weighs 36 kg, stands on a 190 mm base and draws 510 W in typical use. The CSA advanced line is not a trim level of the standard CS series but a different mechanism. Every joint turns +/-360 degrees, as in the CS arms, but the wrist axes run at 470 degrees per second against 230 in the standard line, and four of the five CSA models carry a force/torque sensor in the wrist as standard rather than as a separate model variant. The wrist sensor is scaled to the arm: Fxyz up to 300 N and Mxyz up to 30 Nm, twice the range fitted to the 6 kg CS66A and CS66AZ, with an accuracy of 5 N, 0.5 Nm and a resolution of 1 N, 0.1 Nm, and the same 400% overload margin. The coarser figures are the cost of the wider range - a sensor that reads to 300 N resolves 1 N, where the 150 N unit resolves 0.75 N. Repeatability is +/-0.03 mm rather than the +/-0.02 mm of the smaller CSA arms, which is the pattern Elite Robots follows across its ranges: accuracy tracks reach, not payload. Joint speeds are 180 degrees per second at the base and shoulder, 210 at the first elbow, 410 at the second and 300 and 470 at the two wrist axes, for a maximum tool-point speed of 4.0 m/s. The arm is rated IP65, works from -10 to 50 C, carries 4xDO/4xDI, 1xAI, 1xAO and RS485 at the tool, and runs from the larger ERB3C1K0 control cabinet with the ERP500 pendant. Elite Robots lists this model only on its Chinese-language site; the international site shows a narrower range. No list price is published.
