Elite Robots EC68-08

Elite Robots EC68-08 is a six-axis collaborative arm from Elite Robots of Suzhou, carrying 8 kg over a 820 mm radius with a repeatability of +/-0.03 mm. The arm weighs 17 kg, stands on a 150 mm base and draws 250 W in typical use. All six joints turn +/-360 degrees; joints 1-3 at 150, 150, 190 deg/s and the wrist axes at 260 deg/s, for a typical tool-point speed of 1.5 m/s. Carries 8 kg on the same 17 kg frame that the 6 kg model uses, at the cost of 94 mm of reach. The EC line is the manufacturer's first generation of collaborative arms and is still sold alongside the newer CS series. Where the two overlap on payload and reach, the EC arm is the slower and less sealed of the pair: IP54 against IP65, a typical tool speed of 1.5 m/s against up to 4 m/s, and the smaller ERP300 pendant with an 8-inch 800 x 600 screen instead of the 12.1-inch ERP400. The tool flange carries a 12-pin connector with 2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, one analogue input and one analogue output at 24 V/2 A, communicating over RS485 with Modbus RTU. The arm is rated IP54, works from -10 to 50 C and up to 95% relative humidity without condensation. The standard AC/DC control cabinet measures 505 x 246 x 447 mm, is rated IP44 and weighs 15 kg, with 16 digital inputs, 20 digital outputs, 2 analogue inputs and 4 analogue outputs and fieldbus support for RS485, RS232, Ethernet TCP/IP, UDP, Modbus TCP and RTU, plus EtherNet/IP, Profinet and CC-Link in slave mode. A 1.2 kg Mini controller, 205 x 135 x 40 mm, is available as an option. Collision detection has 90 adjustable sensitivity levels. Dated from the manufacturer's own product listing: the model is absent from the archived listing of 31 March 2023 and present from 19 June 2024. As of September 2026 the model is still listed in the manufacturer's cobot overview, but its individual product page has been withdrawn and redirects to that overview; the specifications above come from the last published version of the card.
