ES612 covers the largest working envelope Elite Robots offers in the ES line: 12 kg of payload out to a radius of 1304 mm. It is the model the rest of the family is measured against — the 18 kg ES618 lifts more but reaches 350 mm less, and the 4 kg ES64-13 matches the reach almost exactly while giving up two thirds of the payload. The step up in size brings a change most catalogues gloss over: the base gets narrower, not wider. ES612 stands on a 128 mm base, against 150 mm on the 6 and 8 kg arms. The same 128 mm appears on the 16 and 18 kg models and, unexpectedly, on the 3 kg ES63 as well: the wider 150 mm base belongs to the three mid-size arms alone, so the figure here is a deliberate house dimension rather than a typographic slip in one datasheet — a point worth making here, because the figure looks wrong at first sight on any single product page. The arm is slower than the light ES models and draws more: base and shoulder run at 100 deg/s, the elbow at 127 and the three wrist axes at 153, for a maximum tool speed of 2.8 m/s and a typical draw of 435 W against 250 W on the small arms. Mass is 34 kg, the heaviest in the family. Repeatability is +/-0.03 mm, the figure Elite Robots quotes for all three of its arms that stretch past a metre. Protection is IP67 over the whole arm, every joint turns +/-360 degrees, mounting is at any angle, and the tool flange carries 2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, a 24 V 1.5 A supply and RS485. The ERB3C600 cabinet is standard. The model is listed only in the manufacturer's Chinese catalogue.
