ES64-13 is the odd one out in the ES line, and the name says why: six axes, 4 kg of payload, 1.3 m of reach. Every other arm in the family trades reach for payload in the usual way; this one gives up payload to buy reach. Its 1300 mm working radius is within 4 mm of the 12 kg ES612, yet the arm weighs 21 kg against 34 kg and draws 250 W against 435 W, which is what lets it sit on a light bench or a mobile base that could never carry the bigger model. The arm is worth reading next to the rest of the line for a second reason: it settles what actually costs Elite Robots its precision. Repeatability here is quoted at +/-0.03 mm, not the +/-0.02 mm of the 3, 6 and 8 kg arms — even though ES64-13 is the second lightest-lifting model in the family. Payload is therefore not the variable; reach is. The three arms quoted at +/-0.03 mm are exactly the three that stretch past a metre. Everything else follows the ES house standard: IP67 over the whole arm, all six joints turning a full +/-360 degrees, any mounting angle, a 150 mm base and a tool flange with 2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, a 24 V 1.5 A supply and an RS485 line. Maximum tool speed is 2.8 m/s, the fastest figure the manufacturer quotes anywhere in the series, with the base and shoulder at 127 deg/s, the elbow at 153 and the three wrist axes at 195. The standard cabinet is the ERB3C600, with a Mini cabinet and a safety-rated teach pendant offered as options. Elite Robots lists the model only in its Chinese catalogue; the English site shows the CS and EC lines instead.
