Elite Robots ES68

ES68 is the heaviest-lifting arm in the ES family that still holds the tight tolerance. It carries 8 kg over a working radius of 820 mm — the shortest reach anywhere in the line — and the manufacturer still quotes repeatability of +/-0.02 mm, the same figure as the 3 and 6 kg models and two steps better than the 18 kg ES618. The trade is visible in the geometry: this is the only ES arm that lifts more than 6 kg without stretching past a metre. The joint speeds explain the intended work. The elbow is held to 127 deg/s here, against 153 on the 6 kg ES66, while the three wrist axes still run at 195; tool speed comes out at 2.3 m/s. In other words the shoulder half of the arm is slowed to carry the heavier tool, while the wrist keeps the pace needed for orienting it. Typical power draw stays at 250 W, the same as on the lighter arms, and mass rises only to 22 kg. The rest is the ES house standard: IP67 over the whole arm, all six joints turning +/-360 degrees, mounting at any angle, a 150 mm base and a tool flange carrying 2 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, a 24 V 1.5 A supply and RS485. The ERB3C600 cabinet and ERP500 pendant are standard, with a Mini cabinet and safety pendant as options. Like the rest of the ES line, the model appears only in the manufacturer's Chinese catalogue.
