The CRX-10iA/L is the long-reach version of FANUC's first collaborative arm, launched alongside it at the International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo in December 2019 and available from the second quarter of 2020. The interesting part is what the extra reach costs, which is nothing measurable. Reach goes from 1,249 to 1,418 mm while payload stays at 10 kg, repeatability stays at +/-0.05 mm, and mass stays at 39 kg - FANUC publishes the same arm weight for both, and the same wrist moments of 34.8, 26 and 11 N.m. That is not how longer arms usually behave: in most ranges, including FANUC's own bigger CRX models, a longer arm gives up payload, precision or both. Here the only visible difference is 169 mm of extra working radius. The rest is standard for the family: six axes, R-30iB Plus controller, IP67 on the body, wrist and J3 arm, floor, angle or inverted mounting, 1,000 mm/s collaborative and 2,000 mm/s high-speed motion, and the eight-year no-maintenance warranty that FANUC applies across the CRX line. FANUC lists it for machine tending, picking and packing, dispensing, welding, material removal, assembly and palletizing, and offers a food-grade variant for sanitary lines. The same 1,418 mm frame was reused three years later for the CRX-20iA/L, which doubles the payload on an arm only 2 kg heavier - so within FANUC's own range this model is the one to compare against before buying. No list price is published.
