The heaviest lifter FANUC builds without a fence: 30 kg over 1,889 mm, and 135 kg of robot to do it. It reached the market in 2022 as the 25 kg CRX-25iA; FANUC has since raised the published payload and renamed the machine rather than replacing it.
The CRX-30iA is the top of FANUC's collaborative range. It carries 30 kg over a 1,889 mm reach, with repeatability of +/-0.05 mm, six axes, the R-30iB Plus controller, IP67 sealing on the body, wrist and J3 arm, and floor, angle or inverted mounting. At 135 kg of arm it is more than three times the mass of the 20 kg CRX-20iA/L, so unlike the smaller CRX models this one is an installation, not something carried to the job. Its history is worth stating plainly, because the catalogue number changed but the machine did not. FANUC announced this size on 1 March 2022 as the CRX-25iA, alongside the CRX-5iA and CRX-20iA/L, and shipped it from June 2022. It is now sold as the CRX-30iA with a higher published payload, and FANUC's own cobot site routes the old model name to this page and describes it as formerly the CRX-25iA. This catalogue therefore keeps one profile rather than two, dated to the original 2022 launch. One discrepancy is unresolved and readers should know about it. FANUC's main product page gives the reach as 1,889 mm; the company's separate CRX microsite still quotes 1,756 mm for the same model. This catalogue records 1,889 mm, the figure in the manufacturer's own specification table, and treats the lower number as a leftover from the CRX-25iA era. The CRX-30iA is also the first FANUC cobot with teach buttons built into the J6 flange, so an operator programs positions at the wrist instead of at a tablet. FANUC lists it for palletizing, material handling, machine tending and welding, offers a food-grade version, and publishes no price.
