Kassow Robots KR1410

KR1410 arrived in 2020 with the KR1018 and sits in the middle of the range: 10 kg of payload, 1400 mm of reach, 35 kg in the manual against 38 kg on the product page. Joints 1-4 run at 163 deg/s, the wrist at 225 deg/s, on the 160 x 160 mm base shared with the KR1018 and KR1805. What separates this model from its siblings is a certificate rather than a specification. In December 2024 Kassow published a cleanroom certificate covering the KR1410 specifically - and no other KR model. That mirrors what other cobot makers do at the opposite end of their ranges: Universal Robots certifies its smallest arm to the strictest class, while KUKA reserves clean versions for its largest machines. Kassow certified neither the smallest nor the largest, but the mid-size long-reach arm. The usual family traits apply: seven axes with torque sensing in each, +/-360 degrees on joints 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7, -70 to +180 degrees on joints 2 and 4, IP54, 0-45 C, noise below 70 dB(A), and a single-phase supply drawing 400-1200 W at full load. Repeatability is not published for this or any other second-generation model; the KR1240 and KR1824 added in 2026 are the first in the series with a figure.
