The launch model of the only cobot maker that builds every arm with seven axes - and the only one of the five that runs all its joints at the full 225 deg/s.
KR810 is the shortest arm Kassow Robots sells and the one it showed first, at Automatica in Munich in 2018, alongside the KR1205 and KR1805; market launch of the three followed in 2019. It lifts 10 kg over 850 mm on a 130 x 130 mm footprint and weighs 24 kg in the manufacturer manual - the product page states 25 kg, a discrepancy the company does not explain. The seventh axis is the point of the design. A redundant joint lets the elbow take an infinite number of positions for one and the same tool pose, which is what allows this arm to work through narrow openings and around fixtures that block a six-axis machine. KR810 and KR1205, the two arms on the small base, drive every joint at 225 deg/s; the three larger models drop the first four joints to 163 deg/s. Joints 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 turn +/-360 degrees, joints 2 and 4 run from -70 to +180 degrees. Power draw is 400-600 W under full load from a single-phase supply. One figure is missing throughout: repeatability. Kassow published neither repeatability nor absolute accuracy for any of the five second-generation models, in the product manual, the datasheet section or the FAQ - unusual in a class where every competitor prints a tolerance in hundredths of a millimetre. This profile therefore states no precision figure rather than borrowing one from a distributor.
