Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD

The LUBA 3 AWD is the fourth generation of Mammotion's all-wheel-drive garden robot and the company's flagship, sold in the manufacturer's own stores from the turn of 2025 and 2026 in variants rated for lawns of 1,500 to 10,000 square metres; the European store lists LUBA 3 AWD 1500 at EUR 2,299, 3000 at EUR 2,699 and 5000 at EUR 3,199, while the American store prices the 1500 at USD 2,399 and offers it in a standard and a high cutting version. Its headline feature is what Mammotion calls Tri-Fusion positioning: a 360-degree lidar, a network RTK service and a dual-camera AI vision system working together, with the machine switching between them as conditions change and a claimed accuracy of plus or minus 1 centimetre. The lidar covers 360 by 59 degrees, reaches up to 70 metres and returns 200,000 points per second, and it is housed under an alloy shield meant to survive impacts. The RTK correction comes from Mammotion's iNavi network service over a built-in link, so there is no reference antenna to mount on a mast; the manufacturer states the service is free for the lifetime of the product and cites more than 60,000 households already using it in Europe. One important detail undercuts the family name: Mammotion's own footnote says the 1500 and 1500H variants position with lidar and AI vision only, so the cheapest way into the flagship series does not include the network RTK that defines it. Mechanically the machine keeps the trait the LUBA line was built on: four in-wheel motors driving all four wheels, slopes up to 80 percent (38.6 degrees) and a mass of only 19 kilograms on omni-wheels intended not to scar the turf. The cutting deck is 400 mm wide with two 165 W motors, six-blade discs and speeds up to 3,000 rpm; a 21.6 V 15 Ah battery gives up to 215 minutes and up to 1,700 square metres per charge, and the 210 W charger tops up only as much as the robot calculates it needs to finish the job. Mapping is automatic and photographic, with up to ten lawn maps stored in the cloud. Two gaps are worth naming: Mammotion publishes no dimensions, no noise rating and no cutting-height figures on the European page, and the variants rated for larger lawns are sold without the manufacturer explaining what physically differs between them.
