Mammotion SPINO E1

SPINO E1 is Mammotion's first product outside the lawn, a cordless pool cleaner launched in the manufacturer's stores in June 2025 at EUR 499. It is the cheapest way into the company's catalogue and it borrows the tracked chassis idea from garden machines: 40-millimetre rubber treads instead of wheels, which is what allows it to climb the wall of a pool and work the waterline rather than only the floor. Three brushless motors drive suction rated at up to 5,800 gallons per hour through a 180-micron top-loading filter basket, with a 289.6-millimetre roller brush at the front. It is rated for pools up to 150 square metres and water depths between 0.6 and 3 metres, in-ground or above-ground. The 6,000 mAh battery gives up to 210 minutes on a three-hour charge, which for a domestic pool means the machine finishes a full cycle and has time to spare; navigation is handled by seventeen sensors and a path planner Mammotion calls SmartArc, with five cleaning modes selected either on the robot or in the Mammotion app. Two details matter for anyone who has fished a cleaner out of a pool with a hook: it parks itself at the waterline when it finishes, and it releases the water it is carrying in about five seconds when lifted, so the 9.3-kilogram machine does not have to be hauled out full. The body measures 444 by 412 by 243 millimetres, sealing is rated IPX8 with a separately sealed battery compartment, and Mammotion gives a two-year warranty, one year less than on its mowers. The manufacturer does not publish a noise rating, and it does not state how the robot behaves in pools with steps or irregular shapes.
