Mammotion YUKA mini 2 1000
Mammotion · China · 2026
Entry-level robotic lawn mower for gardens up to 1,000 square metres that navigates by 360-degree lidar and cameras alone, with no satellite positioning and no boundary wire.
The YUKA mini 2 1000 is the cheapest lidar-guided mower in Mammotion's 2026 range, listed in the manufacturer's European store from the start of the year at EUR 1,099 for lawns up to 1,000 square metres; the American store sells the equivalent high-cut version, the YUKA mini 2 1000H, at USD 1,399. It matters because of what it leaves out. Where the company's flagship fuses lidar, cameras and a network RTK service, this machine drops satellite positioning entirely: a 360 by 45 degree lidar with a 60 metre range and a claimed 1.5 centimetre navigation precision does the work together with a dual-camera AI vision system, so there is no antenna to mount, no correction service to subscribe to and no open sky to worry about under trees or in narrow passages. The sensor head is protected by an alloy shield and rated IP67, and the body is moulded from ASA, a plastic Mammotion says resists ultraviolet ageing for three to five years outdoors. Onboard compute is quoted at 10 TOPS. Drive is rear-wheel only, on 200 mm wheels turned by a 65 W hub motor, which caps slopes at 45 percent - roughly half of what the all-wheel-drive LUBA line handles, and the clearest line the manufacturer draws between its cheap and expensive machines. The 21.6 V 6.1 Ah battery is quoted at two and a half hours of mowing and 250 square metres per charge, meaning a full 1,000 square metre lawn takes several sessions. Mapping is automatic and multi-zone, with up to ten maps kept in the cloud, although Mammotion's own footnote says the photographic LiveMap view for this model only arrives in mid-2026. The cheaper sibling in the same series, the YUKA mini 2 800 at EUR 899, has no lidar at all and navigates on three cameras. Gaps worth naming: the manufacturer publishes no mass, no dimensions, no cutting width, no cutting height range and no noise rating for this model.
