Richtech Skylark

Skylark was Richtech Robotics' attempt to sell hotels one machine instead of several. The idea was a single self-driving base that rides the building's lifts, with the working part bolted on top and swapped as needed: a delivery module for room service and parcels, or a cleaning module for corridors and lobbies. The company advertised further modules - linen, waste collection, security, disinfection - that were never released. In the delivery configuration the robot weighed around 200 lb (91 kg), carried up to 66 lb (30 kg) and moved at 2.5 to 4.5 ft/s, roughly walking pace. It called and rode lifts on its own, which is the part that matters in a hotel: a courier robot that cannot change floors is a corridor trolley. The cleaning module covered a modest 980 to 1,640 sq ft per hour and stayed below 75 dB, quiet enough to run past occupied rooms at night. The line is dead. In the annual report for the fiscal year ended 30 September 2025, filed on 20 January 2026, Richtech writes that "the Skylark line of robots has been discontinued to refocus resources on products with better long-term profitability". The same filing discontinues the Medbot hospital line and reduces the company's catalogue to two pillars: Matradee, ADAM and Scorpion in commercial venues, Titan, DUST-E and the Dex humanoid in industrial ones. Hospitality delivery, the market Skylark was built for, is now served by the Matradee line rather than by a dedicated machine. Richtech never published a list price for Skylark, as it never has for any robot in its range.
