Segway Navimow H Series
Segway-Ninebot · China · 2022
Segway's first wire-free robotic mower line, navigating by satellite from a reference antenna the owner mounts in the garden; sold out across the manufacturer's European store.
The H Series is where Segway's garden business began. The company brought Navimow to twelve European countries at the end of May 2022 with a promise that defined the whole line: no boundary wire. Instead of burying cable around the lawn, the owner mounts a GNSS reference antenna on a wall or a pole, and the mower positions itself against it using GPS, Beidou, Galileo and GLONASS. The map is then drawn once in the app and edited as zones. Four variants share one body, one blade disc and one set of dimensions (603 x 468 x 264 mm), and differ only in battery and recommended area: H500E for 500 square metres, H800E for 800, H1500E for 1,500 and H3000E for 3,000, with lithium-ion packs of 5,200, 7,800 and 10,400 mAh at 21.6 V. Cutting width is 21 cm on every model, cutting height adjusts between 30 and 60 mm, and the machine works through 45 percent slopes inside the lawn but only 10 percent at the boundary. Measured sound power is 54 dB(A) - quiet enough that the manufacturer sells night mowing as a feature. Two differences hide in the manual rather than in the marketing. Cellular connectivity is fitted only to the H800E, H1500E and H3000E, so the entry model is left with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. More consequentially, the ultrasonic obstacle sensor ships in the box of the H3000E alone: on the three cheaper machines obstacle handling falls back to the bump sensor, meaning the mower learns about an object by touching it. From January 2025 the line was re-issued as H500-VF, H800-VF, H1500-VF and H3000-VF, adding the VisionFence camera module at 1,399 to 2,699 euros. As of September 2026 every H variant is listed as unavailable in Segway's European store, which now sells only the lidar-navigated i2 range and the X4 flagship; warranty listings already name an unannounced H206E-H230E generation.
