Entry-level all-wheel-drive robotic mower of the Navimow i2 line, navigating by network satellite corrections and a camera instead of lidar.
The Navimow i2 AWD is the cheapest machine in Segway-Ninebot's i2 line of robotic lawn mowers, listed in the manufacturer's European store on 3 February 2026 alongside the lidar-equipped i2 LiDAR. Two variants reached that store: the i205 AWD for lawns up to 500 square metres at EUR 899 and the i208 AWD for 800 square metres at EUR 1,099. The user manual, however, documents four: the i206 AWD for 600 square metres and the i210 AWD for 1,000 share the same body and differ only in battery and licensed area, and both appear in the extended warranty plans the store sells, without ever appearing in its product listing. What separates this machine from its more expensive siblings is how it knows where it is. The i2 LiDAR and i2 LiDAR Pro map a garden with a lidar scanner; the i2 AWD has none. It relies on tri-frequency network RTK, meaning satellite corrections delivered over a built-in cellular link, fused with a forward camera that Segway calls VisionFence and uses both for obstacle avoidance and, through its EFLS positioning system, to fill in stretches where the satellite signal drops. Segway includes the correction service and the mobile data at no extra charge. That design has one consequence worth knowing before purchase. Because the machine depends on network corrections, its manual keeps a chapter the lidar models do not have: where the network RTK service is not supported, the owner must plant the supplied reference antenna in an open spot with an unobstructed view of the sky, at least two metres clear on either side, or mount it on a wall with a separately sold kit. The marketing promise of an antenna-free lawn therefore holds only inside the coverage map. Mechanically the machine is a compact 12-kilogram four-wheel drive with off-road tyres, an automotive-style electronic speed controller that meters torque wheel by wheel, and a third steering wheel that lets it pivot on the spot without tearing the turf. It climbs gradients of 45 per cent both inside the working area and at its boundary, cuts an 18-centimetre swath at heights between 2 and 6 centimetres, and works its way through roughly 125 square metres an hour at a declared sound power of 59 dB(A).
