Top model of the Navimow i2 line: a lidar-mapping all-wheel-drive mower rated for 55 per cent slopes, the steepest gradient Segway claims for a garden robot.
The Navimow i2 LiDAR Pro joined Segway-Ninebot's European store on 16 March 2026, six weeks after the two machines it sits above. It comes in two variants that share a body and differ in battery and licensed lawn area: the i210 LiDAR Pro for 1,000 square metres at EUR 1,599 and the i220 LiDAR Pro for 2,000 square metres at EUR 1,999. It is a substantially bigger machine than the rest of the line rather than a trim level. At 655 by 445 by 290 millimetres and 17.35 to 17.9 kilograms it is roughly half again the size of the i2 AWD, cuts a 22-centimetre swath instead of 18, raises the cutting height ceiling from 6 to 7 centimetres and covers about 158 square metres an hour. The larger variant carries a 10 Ah, 216 Wh pack good for around three hours of mowing per charge. Its headline number is the gradient. Segway rates it for 55 per cent, or 29 degrees, both inside the working area and at its boundary, against 45 per cent for every other Navimow the company currently sells. All-wheel drive with off-road rear tyres and a third steering wheel that pivots the machine on the spot do the work, and the manufacturer stresses that the pivot leaves the turf undamaged. Navigation is where the i2 line gets interesting, because its three machines solve the same problem three ways at three prices. The i2 AWD reads network satellite corrections and a camera. The plain i2 LiDAR maps by laser and camera. This model, Segway says, fuses lidar, network RTK and vision together. Its own user manual is quieter on that point: unlike the i2 AWD manual, which devotes a whole installation chapter to the correction service and to planting a reference antenna, the Pro manual never mentions RTK at all, and its installation chapter is simply activate, assemble the station and update the software. The radio declaration does list a GPS, Galileo and BeiDou receiver alongside LTE, so the hardware is there; what the buyer will not find is any step, setting or antenna to look after. The machine also joins Apple's Find My network, which the cheaper models do not.
