onero A1 is a standalone robotic arm sold under onero, the robotics brand SwitchBot launched at CES 2026 in Las Vegas together with the wheeled humanoid onero H1. The arm went on sale in the company's own shop on 5 January 2026, the opening day of the show, at 799 US dollars - an order of magnitude below the humanoid, which SwitchBot has said will cost less than 10,000 dollars. The product is aimed at people who want to run embodied-AI experiments on real hardware rather than in simulation only. SwitchBot describes it as a lightweight open-source arm and documents two software layers on the product page: support for the ROS 2 Humble distribution, with driver nodes that publish and subscribe to topics in real time to move the arm and read back its pose, and integration with MoveIt 2 for motion planning. The same interface drives either the physical arm or a virtual model of it, which lets a researcher develop against a simulated arm and then run the identical code on the desk. What SwitchBot does not publish is a data sheet. As of this writing neither the international nor the US product page states the number of joints, the reach, the payload, the repeatability, the mass or the power supply, and no specification table appears in the page graphics; the company has also not released a public code repository for the arm despite the open-source label.
