The robot that first plumbed a household vacuum into the water supply: two stations, one of them connected to the taps and drain, so nobody carries a bucket.

The S10 is the machine that introduced SwitchBot's central idea to the vacuum market: a cleaning robot should not need a human to fetch water for it. Instead of one station, it ships with two. The Auto-Empty and Dry Station handles the dry half - it sucks the dustbin into a bag rated for about 70 days and blows hot air through the mop so it does not go sour between runs. The second unit, the Auto-Fill and Drain Water Station, is spliced into the household plumbing, usually under a kitchen sink or in a laundry room, and takes clean water from the supply while sending dirty water down the drain. The water station is deliberately unremarkable in size: SwitchBot rates it at 3.9 inches tall, shorter than a phone standing on its edge, and it carries no power cable of its own - the robot powers it when it docks. That is what lets it sit inside a cabinet rather than occupy a corner of a room. Wet cleaning is done by a roller called RevoRoll with the RinseSync system, which washes the roller while it scrubs rather than after the job, so the water reaching the floor stays cleaner than in a system that soaks a single flat pad for the whole run. Dry cleaning is rated at 6,500 Pa, and the mop lifts on carpet. Navigation is LiDAR SLAM with no-go zones and up to five saved floor maps, which matters in houses with more than one storey. List price was 1,199.99 US dollars - the top of SwitchBot's range at launch, and a good deal more than the 799.99 dollars the 2025 successor S20 costs with the same plumbing trick built in. The manufacturer now flags the S10 as a last-chance purchase, which normally precedes withdrawal; this profile stays as a record of the model regardless of what happens to the listing.
