Cadebot L100 is UBTech's answer to the restaurant delivery robots that have become common in Chinese and European dining rooms. It is a 1265 mm tall wheeled column weighing 55 kg, built around three open trays with four loading places, each tray 38 by 42 cm and rated for 10 kg, giving 40 kg in total. The machine is as much an advertising surface as a waiter. A 21.5-inch full-HD screen fills its front, fed with marketing material from a USB stick or from the cloud, and the body panels take customisable skins for holidays and campaigns - the manufacturer shows Christmas, football and Spring Festival themes. A 10.1-inch touch screen handles operation, and the four service modes cover greeting guests, escorting them, cruising with advertising, and a birthday routine. Interaction combines lighting effects, animated facial expressions, natural-language processing and touch sensing on the body, with a six-microphone array that the maker rates for accurate recognition at 5 m across a full circle. Navigation uses UBTech's U-SLAM fusion positioning - laser SLAM plus visual recognition of natural features - quoted at centimetre-level accuracy. Obstacle avoidance draws on front and rear lidar, two RGBD depth cameras and two ultrasonic sensors, with cliff detection, glass recognition and automatic slowing on slopes. The chassis borrows automotive-grade independent suspension with damping that adapts to the floor, clears 15 mm obstacles and squeezes through a 650 mm gap at 0.3-1.0 m/s. A top camera reads QR codes and a front camera does face recognition, which also authorises pick-up alongside a password. Built-in Lora radio lets several robots coordinate offline, and a map scanned by one machine synchronises to the rest; the fleet is managed from UBTech's CARS platform, which can be deployed privately. One caveat worth flagging: the manufacturer's own specification sheet contradicts itself on endurance, quoting 6 hours of working endurance in one table and 8 hours of work with 12 hours of standby in the next, from a 20 Ah LiFePO4 battery that recharges in 4 hours. The charging dock is a paid extra.
