Techman Robot promotes its TM AI Cobot S series on one number: a repeatability of plus/minus 0.03 mm, which the company calls an improvement of up to 70 percent over its earlier line. The claim sits on the series landing page, and trade coverage of the TM25S and TM30S launches repeated it as a specification of those machines. The manufacturer's own product pages say something else. Read one by one, the eight arms of the S series split into two groups. TM5S, TM7S, TM12S, TM14S and TM20S each carry the plus/minus 0.03 mm line. The TM25S and the TM30S — the 25 kg arm with the longest reach in the catalogue at 1902 mm, and the 30 kg arm rated to 35 kg when palletising — are both listed at plus/minus 0.05 mm. The practical reading is that the series headline describes the light and medium arms, not the flagship pair. A buyer who needs both the reach and the precision has to choose: the TM20S holds plus/minus 0.03 mm but stops at 1300 mm and 20 kg, while going up to the TM25S buys 600 mm of extra span at a stated cost of two hundredths of a millimetre. The difference is small in absolute terms and irrelevant for palletising, which is what these two arms are sold for.
