AgiBot A2 Ultra
AgiBot · China · 2025
Top version of AgiBot's A2 humanoid: 169 cm, 69 kg, 40 degrees of freedom and the first humanoid certified in China, the US and Europe at the same time.
The A2 Ultra is the fully equipped version of AgiBot's full-size humanoid, and the model the company puts forward as its commercial flagship. Compared with the standard A2, it is not a different machine but a considerably richer one: the same 169 cm frame grows from 63 to 69 kg and from 23 to 40 active degrees of freedom, because the Ultra adds two-degree head motion, seven-joint arms instead of five, and a pair of six-degree dexterous hands the base version does not have at all. That difference decides what the robot can be used for. With hands, the Ultra is a manipulation platform; without them, the A2 is essentially a walking, talking presence. AgiBot pairs it with a full sensor package - lidar, a chest fisheye camera, head and waist RGB-D cameras, microphones and a speaker - and a face-height interactive screen, which places it squarely in customer-facing and guided-tour work rather than heavy industry. The claims AgiBot makes for it are unusually operational for this class of robot. The company cites up to 2,000 hours of walking tests, including a 360-hour continuous run without an anomaly or a fall, which it presents as roughly eighteen months of typical use. Battery life while standing is given as about three hours, with hot-swappable packs and fast charging so that a shift does not have to stop when the battery does. Its strongest single claim is regulatory rather than technical: AgiBot states the A2 Ultra is the first humanoid to hold Chinese CR, European CE-MD and CE-RED and US FCC certification simultaneously, and says it has been deployed at more than twenty enterprises. Note the caveat that comes with the FCC line - the American ban announced in 2026 applies only to new equipment authorisations, so a certification already granted is unaffected. AgiBot does not publish a list price for the Ultra; the store shows a placeholder figure and directs buyers to sales.
