D1 MaxPro is the load carrier of AgiBot's Kuotuo quadruped line. It was shown for the first time on 21 August 2025 at the company's partner conference, and the pitch was blunt: 50 kg of effective payload, with press coverage quoting peaks of up to 100 kg. To carry that, the machine is simply bigger than its siblings — 1270 by 520 by 730 mm standing, 68 kg with the battery — and it trades speed for endurance. Continuous walking runs at up to 1.2 m/s, and while the specification card lists a laboratory maximum of 3 m/s it also states that shipping units are software-limited to 2 m/s for safety. Joint torque is handled the same way: the actuators peak at 300 N.m and the software caps them at 180 N.m. The battery is the other headline. At 45 Ah and 48 V it is roughly a 2 kWh pack, and the manufacturer claims 5.5 hours of work unloaded — which it calls the best in the industry — and over 2 hours while carrying the full 50 kg. Range is 21 km empty and 11 km loaded. The pack comes out for a quick swap, and an autonomous charging dock is offered as an option; a full charge from 10 to 90 per cent takes 4.5 hours. Environmental protection matches the D1 Max: IP67, minus 20 to plus 55 degrees Celsius, and wading to 20 cm. Mobility is pure quadruped, twelve degrees of freedom with three per leg, climbing continuous 30 cm stairs including open industrial staircases, with a fall recovery routine the manufacturer describes as mature. Sensing is leaner than on D1 Max — a single forward 96-line lidar covering 360 by 90 degrees to 120 m with 1.5 cm accuracy, two wide-angle 2-megapixel cameras front and rear at 30 fps, and one automotive-grade IMU — but the compute module is comparable at 117 TOPS. Development is supported over TCP and ROS with SDK builds for x86 and ARM, and the robot exposes three gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0, a 100 Mbit port and a serial line, with 12, 24 and 48 V rails delivering up to 720 W. The screen remote includes a manual emergency stop and works out to 500 m. Target uses are heavy transport, industrial inspection, logistics and emergency rescue — the jobs where a quadruped is competing with a person carrying a load rather than with a wheeled cart.
