DEEP Robotics DR02
DEEP Robotics · China · 2025
The first full-size humanoid sealed to IP66: works in rain and dust from -20 to 55 C, and its arms and legs swap out on site.
Announced on 17 October 2025, the DR02 is DEEP Robotics' industrial humanoid and the first full-size machine of its kind to carry an IP66 rating over the whole body, meaning it is sealed against dust and can take high-pressure water jets. That, with an operating range of -20 to 55 C, is the whole argument for the robot: while most humanoids are demonstrated on clean warehouse floors, the DR02 is sold for security patrols, outdoor inspection, cold stores and hot workshops. It stands 175 cm tall with a 68 cm arm span, walks at 1.5 m/s and can reach 4 m/s, climbs 25 cm stairs continuously and handles 20-degree slopes. Each arm lifts 10 kg and the whole body carries 20 kg. Perception combines lidar, depth cameras and wide-angle cameras, feeding a computing unit rated at up to 275 TOPS. The second design argument is maintenance: forearms, complete arms and legs detach quickly, left and right modules are interchangeable, and a damaged limb can be replaced on site instead of shipping the robot back to the factory. DEEP Robotics has not published the weight, the joint count, runtime or a price; figures circulating in third-party databases are not confirmed by the maker.
