The Lite 3 is the small end of the DEEP Robotics range: a 12 to 13.5 kg quadruped for laboratories, universities and developers rather than for industrial duty. It stands about 610 x 370 mm with an adjustable body height of 406 to 496 mm, carries 2.5 to 5 kg while walking depending on the build, climbs 40-degree slopes and 18 cm steps, and runs 1.5 to 2 hours for 2.7 to 5 km on a charge. The maker says joint torque rose by half over the previous generation, with faster control response and improved live video streaming. Four variants share the same body: Basic is the bare locomotion platform, Venture adds two Ethernet ports and 24 V, 12 V and 5 V outputs for external hardware, Pro adds USB 3.0 and HDMI, and the LIDAR build carries the full sensing suite with autonomous navigation. All of them include front and rear obstacle stop and visual following; forward obstacle avoidance comes with Pro and LIDAR. DEEP Robotics does not publish an IP rating, a compute specification or a list price for the Lite 3.
