FX Navi

FX Navi is Faraday Future's teaching quadruped, launched on 16 June 2026 with sales opening the same day. It is aimed at homes and classrooms and sold together with a STEM curriculum framework: the idea is that a child starts by driving the robot, then programs it, then builds on it. The most unusual design decision is that Navi has no computer of its own. A smartphone slots into the head module and lends the robot its processor, camera and microphone; both iOS and Android are supported. That keeps the price at $1,990 for a machine with 12 joint motors, measuring 46.5 × 20 × 51.5 cm and weighing 8 kg — small enough for a living room and able to walk over thresholds and carpets. Faraday Future has also published the 3D model of the head module so that owners can print their own and change the robot's appearance. The software side is a visual programming platform, an official curriculum and a skill store, all updated over the air. Two optional packages, shared across the whole FF robot line, extend it: a one-off $390 lifetime development and skills package, and a $490-per-year curriculum package with nine progressive levels. Faraday Future calls it the only quadruped sold in the United States below $2,000 that supports secondary development; it is sold through the company's own store, partner e-commerce and livestream sales.
