Leju KUAVO 4Pro

Leju Robotics (乐聚机器人) · China · 2025

The KUAVO generation Leju sells as a talker rather than a worker: a 1.66 m humanoid built for exhibition halls, showrooms and tourist sites, with a six-microphone array and a chatbot for a mouth.

KUAVO 4Pro is the fourth-generation KUAVO in its Pro configuration, presented by Leju on 21 August 2025 as a new-generation guide humanoid — a machine meant for exhibition halls, cultural and tourism venues and commercial showrooms rather than for a production line. It is the model that sits between the research-oriented KUAVO 4 of 2024 and the industrial KUAVO 5 that followed in November 2025. The manufacturer's datasheet gives a body of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, 1.66 m tall, around 55 kg, with an arm span of 2.148 m and a running speed of up to 5 km/h. Degrees of freedom are sold as a choice rather than a number: 22, 30 or 40 for the whole body, five or seven per arm, and a neck that is either fixed or has two axes. The hand is optional too — a five-finger dexterous hand with 6 degrees of freedom and 10 movable joints, or a simple gripper. Power comes from a 60 V pack that can be swapped without shutting the robot down, which matters more in a venue open all day than on a test bench. Perception is built for talking to people: a stereo camera, a lidar and a six-microphone array feeding autonomous navigation and voice interaction. Leju connects the machine to Huawei Cloud's CloudRobo embodied intelligence platform and lets it call large models such as DeepSeek and Doubao for multimodal dialogue and task planning; locomotion is handled separately by the company's own omnidirectional gait, whole-body force control and disturbance-resistant balance algorithms. Leju states that 95% of the core components are domestically produced, including its own integrated high-torque joints. One caution for readers: the parameters above come from the Chinese product page, which the English navigation does not show. Leju does not publish battery life, payload or a price for this model, so the profile does not carry them.
