TIAGo Pro is PAL Robotics' two-armed mobile manipulator, unveiled at ICRA 2023 as the professional successor to the single-armed TIAGo. Each arm has seven degrees of freedom, torque sensing on every actuator, brakes at six joints and a 3 kg payload, reaching 92 cm vertically and 236 cm horizontally; a one-degree-of-freedom torso raises the whole upper body through 35 cm. The base drives omnidirectionally on four mecanum wheels with two 360-degree laser scanners, and the head - two axes, an RGB-D camera, a 10-inch touchscreen face, a four-microphone array and stereo speakers - is built for human-robot interaction rather than decoration. Software is Ubuntu LTS with PREEMPT-RT and ROS 2, shipped with navigation and motion libraries, MoveIt2, Nav2, a Docker SDK image and MuJoCo or Gazebo simulation. Options include an NVIDIA Jetson GPU, wrist force/torque sensors, longer-range lidars and a 16-degree-of-freedom Allegro hand with tactile fingertips. PAL also sells a teleoperation station for collecting demonstration data.
