Richtech ADAM
Richtech Robotics · USA · 2022
A two-armed robot bartender working real shifts in US stadiums and stores - the machine that made Richtech's name and now lends its arms to the company's humanoid.
ADAM is Richtech Robotics' two-armed beverage robot and the product the company is best known for. Each arm has six degrees of freedom, and the machine works from a counter rather than a mobile base: customers order, ADAM prepares. The recipe library covers coffee, cocktails and bubble tea, with stir-fry cooking added later and a noodle program announced for 2024. What makes ADAM worth a profile is not novelty but service record. Since 2022 the robot has worked commercial sites across the United States - Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, New Jersey, San Francisco and Oakland - and the company reports deployments including a Texas Rangers stadium concession and a Walmart-linked Ghost Kitchens rollout covering, on a letter of intent, twenty locations. Richtech sells it as staff, not as equipment: the pitch is a labour model, robot-as-a-service, aimed at operators who cannot fill shifts. Richtech has never published a specification table or a price for ADAM, and neither has it published one for any robot currently in its line - every figure circulating on hobby sites traces back to no source at all. What the company does state, in its fiscal 2025 filings, is a hard deployment figure: over 450 Richtech robots working across the United States. ADAM's importance to the company grew again in 2026, when Richtech reused its dual-arm manipulation stack as the upper body of Dex, its first humanoid.
