Full-size UBTech humanoid that trades legs for a wheeled base, lifts 15 kg anywhere between the floor and 1.8 m, and turns on the spot in a 0.8 m aisle.
Cruzr S2 is the wheeled branch of UBTech's humanoid line-up. Where Walker S1 and S2 walk on two legs through car factories, Cruzr S2 puts the same full-size humanoid torso - 176 cm tall, 44 degrees of freedom - on a wheeled base and aims at handling work that rewards stability and reach rather than gait. The body is built around a symmetrical design that bends both forwards and backwards: the manufacturer quotes a torso rotation of plus/minus 170 degrees, a pitch range from +90 to -35 degrees and a waist that lifts through 0-40 cm. Together those give the robot a working envelope from the floor up to 1.8 m while carrying 15 kg, and the ability to rotate in place inside a 0.8 m aisle. A single arm grips 7.5 kg. The hands are UBTech's fourth-generation industrial dexterous hands with 11 degrees of freedom and six array-type tactile pressure sensors, which the company credits with sub-millimetre precision in sorting and component assembly. Perception is built on UBTech's own passive binocular stereo vision: two RGB cameras and a deep-learning depth estimation algorithm generate a dense, left-eye-aligned depth map in real time, an approach the company describes as human-like stereo sight rather than active depth sensing. Learning-based motion control moves the robot at 2 m/s under load, with slope self-balancing, gap and step crossing, anti-cliff detection and foot-protection sensing for working alongside people. The head carries a 4-inch circular display, a four-microphone array and two speakers for large-language-model voice interaction, and the robot runs UBTech's Co-Agent, a collaboration agent intended to close the loop between a single autonomous machine and a coordinated group of them. The structure mixes rigid and compliant materials: an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy and 3D-printed main skeleton with three-dimensionally woven high-elasticity fibre. UBTech has not published a price, a runtime figure, a battery capacity or a compute specification for Cruzr S2, and has not disclosed deployment volumes.
