The B2 is the heavy end of Unitree's quadruped line, aimed at inspection, patrol and load carrying rather than research. It weighs about 60 kg with the battery, is rated IP67, and carries more than 40 kg while walking or over 120 kg standing still — figures well beyond the consumer Go2. A 45 Ah (2250 Wh) pack gives four to six hours of work: more than five hours and over 20 km unloaded, or over four hours and 15 km with a 20 kg load. Perception comes from one 3D lidar, two depth cameras and two optical cameras, and joint torque peaks around 360 N·m, which is what lets it climb obstacles and recover under load. A wheeled variant, the B2-W, trades some terrain ability for speed.
