H1 is the robot with which Unitree moved from quadrupeds to full-size humanoids. Announced in 2023, it stands about 180 cm and weighs roughly 47 kg — light for its height, which is the design decision most of its behaviour follows from. Unitree quotes a peak torque density of 189 N·m/kg, and the machine went on to record a moving speed of 3.3 m/s, presented by the company as a world record for a humanoid, with the platform's potential put above 5 m/s. The joint layout is deliberately lean rather than dexterous: five degrees of freedom in each leg (three at the hip, one at the knee, one at the ankle) and four in each arm, expandable. Peak joint torque is about 360 N·m at the knee, 220 N·m at the hip, 59 N·m at the ankle and 75 N·m in the arm joints. Power comes from a quick-swap 15 Ah pack (0.864 kWh, 67.2 V maximum). Perception is a 3D LiDAR paired with a depth camera for 360-degree coverage, and compute is an Intel Core i5 in the standard platform, with Core i7 or an NVIDIA Orin NX available. H1 was sold overwhelmingly into universities and research groups, and it is best read as a locomotion platform: strong legs, capable balance and a comparatively simple upper body. Unitree later extended the line with H1-2, and the commercial H1 Pro variant of 2026 builds on the same base. In line with this catalogue's practice, those newer machines have their own entries — H1 remains here as the original. Unitree does not publish a list price for H1 on its product page; the robot was widely reported at launch in the region of 90,000 USD.
