Unitree H1 Pro

H1 Pro is the commercial evolution of Unitree's H1 platform, the full-size biped that set the humanoid running record of 3.3 m/s. Where H1 and H1-2 were sold mainly to universities and research labs, H1 Pro is positioned as a working machine: Unitree markets it on price and on how far customers can rewrite its software stack, aiming at research groups and light industrial work rather than showcase demonstrations. The 2026 rollout was unusually aggressive. Unitree opened commercial sales in Europe on 22 July 2026 and in Asia on 5 August 2026, the latter accompanied by an announced deployment of more than 500 units into logistics warehouses and manufacturing plants. A North American launch was scheduled for 12 August 2026, which would have made H1 Pro the first humanoid to reach three continents inside three weeks. That third step did not happen. On 28 July 2026 the FCC extended its Covered List in a way that left the robot without a route to US equipment authorisation, and the North American launch was blocked. The regulatory pressure had been building: several weeks earlier the Pentagon had added Unitree to its list of Chinese military companies, barring Department of Defense contracts, and European buyers have been warned that under China's National Intelligence Law the company can be compelled to share data from robots operating anywhere in the world. No EU rule currently blocks the sale. Unitree has not published a full specification sheet for the Pro variant. The underlying H1 platform stands 1.8 m tall, weighs about 47 kg, carries a quick-swap 864 Wh battery and combines 3D LiDAR with depth cameras; its knee joints peak at 360 N·m. Which of those figures carry over unchanged to H1 Pro, and what the robot costs, remain undisclosed.
