H2-D takes the upper body of Unitree's H2 humanoid and puts it on a wheeled chassis with a telescopic column instead of legs — the manufacturer's answer to the fact that walking is still the least reliable part of a humanoid on a production line. The column raises the torso from 1.2 m to 1.7 m and, combined with a waist that pitches through 115 degrees, gives a working envelope reaching from the floor to about two metres. Each arm has seven axes and a rated payload of roughly 7 kg, with peaks near 15 kg depending on how far the arm is extended; the wrist takes a two-finger gripper, a three-finger or a five-finger dexterous hand. Two versions are offered from the same datasheet: a Standard on a fixed base, 19 degrees of freedom, run continuously from mains power, and a Flagship on a differential-drive mobile base, 20 degrees of freedom, up to 1.5 m/s, roughly five hours on a quick-release 1.44 kWh battery and about a 0.75 m turning circle. Perception is deliberately dense for an industrial machine: a wide-field binocular head, cameras in both wrists, chassis LiDAR, a depth camera, ultrasonic and physical collision sensors. Two industrial PCs sit in the base — an i5 running the platform and an i7 left free for the customer's own code — with an optional accelerator module for on-board models. Unitree positions H2-D for assembly, handling, commercial service and embodied-AI data collection, and sells it through its sales desk rather than the online shop; no list price is published. As with the rest of Unitree's range, the July 2026 FCC Covered List entry blocks new US equipment authorisations for the manufacturer, which affects new deployments in that market.
