The T800 is the full-size flagship of EngineAI, a Shenzhen humanoid maker, shown globally at CES 2026 in January and put into series production on 29 May 2026, when the company opened its Shenzhen manufacturing base and rolled out the first batch. Two things separate it from most humanoids of its class. First, it is actually being built at volume: EngineAI has stated a target of 4,000 to 5,000 units during 2026. Second, the company publishes a price list rather than inviting enquiries - RMB 180,000 for the Basic version, 240,000 for Development, 280,000 for Pro and 360,000 for Max. The robot stands 173 cm with 60 cm arms and 91 cm legs, weighs 75 to 85 kg depending on version, walks at 3 m/s or more and reaches a maximum joint torque of 450 N.m. Degrees of freedom scale with the version: 25 in the body on Basic and Development, 29 on Pro and 32 on Max, with Pro and Max adding seven-degree-of-freedom dexterous hands for 43 and 46 in total. Perception also scales: an Intel depth camera on Basic, EngineAI's own dual-lens system with lidar on Pro and Max, matched with Jetson Orin NX 16 GB or AGX Orin 64 GB. Runtime is 4 to 5 hours from a 71.4 V, 20 Ah ternary lithium pack, or from an optional 74.8 V, 40 Ah solid-state battery - still a rarity in shipping robots.
